Not only do they carry their traditions proudly, but they’re eager to share them with others. As a foreigner, I was captivated—and welcomed with stories, smiles, and chai.
I realized: India is unique. Its people, its energy, its way of life. And I knew I wanted to bring a piece of that to Europe.
Funny enough, my connection with India began unexpectedly—during COVID.
As part of my university program, we had to complete an internship. But with the world locked down, I could only find a remote role. I ended up working for an Indian company… for pennies.
But I didn’t care. What I gained was experience. And something more: a calling.
That’s when I met my now-best friend and mentor, who introduced me to India in a way no travel guide ever could. Through him, I learned about the language, the culture, the mindset—the soul of India.
Since then, I’ve lived my daily life in close connection with Indian friends and colleagues. And over time, it became clear:

Europe talks a lot about going back to organic, sustainable, clean living. But what’s considered a premium lifestyle here is often just normal in India.

So I asked myself: Why can’t we have the same here?
That’s when DVcollections truly came to life—not just as a shop, but as a mission to bridge cultures. To make Indian-origin, organic and sustainable products accessible in Europe, at fair prices. And to share the stories, values, and traditions behind them.
We partnered with Arezou, a much-loved Indian brand known for its beautiful, sustainable beauty products.
The founder had the products and the passion—but needed help bringing them to the European market.
We made it happen. And this is just the beginning.
